This is excellent strategy tbh. The Motto will KILL Urban/Rhythmic. Drake has such a stranglehold on Urban radio, plus Wayne it should be a monster hit. Make Me Proud is dead, but they still want to create a visual for it, mainly for Team Drizzy/Minaj/YMCMB.
Take Care is getting great airplay in the UK and is steady on the charts, which is helping the album greatly. I don't see why they don't capitalise on his increasing popularity and have two singles (Take Care and The Motto) smashing at the same time. There is no point holding off Take Care when it has the potential to be his 2nd #1.
BTW, i think this album is one of the frontrunners for 2013 AOTY. If he wins, he will be the 1st Rap Male to win
an General AOTY.
