!! im glad y'all agree tbh. like, normally no matter what song i watch/hear i always have a reaction. but this one, i never sat still and looked more, reactionless in a long time. didn't even throw my ass or move my hips once.

idk why but i let out the loudest cackle to this
yikes lol, a mess it would be if iKON was the reason i knew of k-pop existence
but they just seem like a fun group who makes bops, and their all hot so it's like a win/win. oh well, more dick for me

we also need to take into account that this was the first high touch of their american tour since the one before was cancelled due to rapmon receiving death threats so that may explain why J hope and V were a little reserved

Hobie as collected? For real?
Rapmon got death threats? For what? I think this is their second time?

Jessica's success in the charts and in physical sales warms my heart. Her music is uplifting too. I missed her voice so much, and I really love this warm reception to the return of our Ice Princess.

there were a large number of black k pop fans were were offended when rap mon was doing an interview shortly before the tour started. During a recent interview in Melbourne, he was asked by a reporter from Officially KMusic to describe his first impression of meeting his group mates. "I couldn't see them because they were too black," said Rap Monster. "When nights get dark, I couldn't find them." people got mad over the colorism issue in korea and when rapmon came to the US, people on twitter sent death threats and posted picture of themselves with guns leading to one concert and fan meet being cancelled.
even though rap mon speaks english, he ****s up a lot due to cultural differences. Of course he meant that they (BTS) have darker skin and he wasnt thinking about international fans when he made that statement. Colorism is an issue in korea but from my experience colorism is mostly directed at other koreans not foreigners. Ive never seen or heard a korean commit on a foreigners skin when i was there

Not sure if it was posted here but
Quote:
in an interview on may 17, jessica shares about the current status of her relationships with girls’ generation members.
“there are some members that i keep in touch with and some that i don’t,” jessica says. “while i can no longer be active with them, i hope that girls’ generation does well for a long, long time.”
she also addresses girls’ generation member tiffany’s solo debut, which coincides with her own solo debut.
“i think my face off with tiffany must be entertaining for onlookers,” jessica says. “i have listened to tiffany’s music and seen her music video and showcase. i think i saw a lot of tiffany wanting to express herself.”
“rather than a rival, since [tiffany] came out with a different style of music, i would like if people had fun listening and watching. i am supporting tiffany’s activities,” jessica says.
meanwhile, jessica recently released her first solo album since debuting nine years ago with girls’ generation. six hours after its release on may 17 at midnight kst, jessica’s title track “fly” topped three live music charts, bugs music, genie, and monkey3. “fly” took second place on olleh and soribada charts, and sixth place on the melon chart.

(on jonghyun’s album title) jonghyun’s album title is 좋아 (english: she is). “좋아” can be interpreted as “i like it” or “ like you” - context is ambiguous because of dropped pronouns!

The fact the album is being released one day before SHINee's anniversary too
