Kitto Eien Ni is my contender for the top spot tbh. The sheer emotion in her voice, the beautifully done belts, in my eyes this is the #1. However, I'm sure it will be much lower than that.
"Smily" is Ai Otsuka's eighth single, which was released on 11 May 2005.
The single became Ai's very first #1 smash selling over 110,000 copies in it's first week. Eventually the single ended up selling 310,000 copies putting it at #26 on the yearly charts
"Peach" is Ai Otsuka's third and last number one single. It sold over 170,000 copies according to Oricon ending up at #38 on the Yearly Charts. The single was also a huge success digitally being certified for more than 1,000,000 downloads as a ringtone by the RIAJ, and more than 250,000 times as a full-length download.
"Sakuranbo" is Otsuka Ai's second single and is credited with being her breakout hit. It stayed on the Oricon charts for a legendary 101 weeks selling over 530,000 copies physically and over 1,000,000 copies digitally. This is currently Otsuka's best selling single.
"Two As One" is the 18th single released by Crystal Kay. The titular track is a collaboration with the Japanese R&B duo CHEMISTRY and was used as a commerical theme song for Toyota's "Toyaoto WISH" automobiles. The single reached #2 on the Oricon weekly charts, where it charted for 14 weeks.
"Kitto Eien ni" is Crystal Kay's nineteenth single. It was released on January 17, 2007 as the first single for Kay's seventh studio album "All Yours." The single peaked at #12 on Oricon selling 20,000 copies total.
