With Hey Girl, I think it's intentional that they didn't exchange lyrics in a shouty way or like belting out the lines because if it was, it will contradict the message of the song about not "one-in' up another". So a calm vibe really fits the song, wish it was shorter though.

I've been warning the other gays this isn't an album with gay bops and if you like BTW then you'll like this!! It's the best way I can describe the album. I've been saying it's not like her other albums, sans BTW (though BTW had a lot of filler )
