I came across a tweet from Kevin Williamson that implied that he is still interested in the Scream franchise, and that nobody actually wants the script, which sounds like the biggest bunch of ******** I've ever heard. To be quite ****ing honest, Kevin needs to write an awesome script and approach a production company. The Weinsteins are obviously not going to put a cent towards it at this moment in time. Maybe another company can provide a bigger budget for effects and casting. They really need to draw a crowd in that aren't seasoned Scream fans. I want more action, CAR CRASHES AND ****ING HOUSES BEING BLOWN THE **** UP.
I also need for Dewey to be cut up and replaced by Kirby. They don't even have to focus on the original trinity, maybe murders are happening at a college or something around a completely new character, and the police approach Sid, Gale and Dewey to help investigate them, as they have already experienced it 4 times. I can picture Sidney coming face to face with Ghostface and he tells her that "this isn't about you anymore, stay out of my ****ing way" or something along those lines. I NEED SCREAM 5 SO BAD!!!!!
GIVE ME EMMA STONE IN A LEAD ROLE!!!!!!! I need a future for this franchise. I need news soon, I won't settle for a ****** MTV series (here for it tbh)
Even a remake or something, you could kill the trio within the first 15 minutes and I wouldn't care, I JUST NEED THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Cabin In The Wood was a genius commentary on the modern horror industry. It was very creative and the last 20 minutes were the definition of epic. It was never meant to be a real horror movie.
