I hated C'mon when it was announced as the next single, but it managed to grow on me. It's a fun, feel-good jam but I stand by it being a lousy choice. When it got those good updates at first I started thinking it was a good choice afterall, but changed my mind back shortly after But sadly success does change people's opinions.. Even mine sometimes. I liked BBB a lot more before it didn't do so hot.
I feel dumb for thinking C'Mon was going to smash all along I'm feeling what it feels like to be an overly dedicated stan. I'm started to see now that it was a bad idea compared to all the other potential second singles. I keep hoping that there's some OTHER reason but there really isn't, sigh. I just really hope this doesn't actually mean bad news for her career.
I loved "C'mon" when we first heard it back in November. The problem for me, is that the novelty declined pretty quickly. I soon realised that it really showcased nothing new or interesting from Ke$ha. Not only that, but I was totally against it being the second single. I think it would have worked better around June-July time.
The song is a great album track but when put next to so many other potential singles it truly makes me sad. I now realize Thinking Of You was truly the ideal second single and even if it did flop, she still would've been sticking true to her word by releasing something with more of a rock edge to the public. Now she just looks dumb for releasing C'Mon. Thinking of You also has that Zac controversy
It's frustrating because Ke$ha knows she has to mix things up to stay relevant. So she made songs a la Thinking Of You and Last Goodbye. And yet her label decides to push something like C'Mon and it backfires big time. Sigh. Kesha really had a chance this era and to see how it has been more or less foiled makes me sad.
It's alright Collin Who knows how anything will do. Just look at those boring, cheesy RIhanna & Bruno songs at the top of the chart Maybe she should go with Wonderland? Kidding. The chances of that working for our girl are slim (at least at this point). I would personally go with Die Young > Supernatural > Crazy Kids > Last Goodbye. Maybe switching CK and DY because I think CK may have stood out better as a 1st single
Hey guys, Ke$ha is still battling it out in the Softer Side Rate (which both Collin and Kiss N' Tell participated in) - it would be great if you could check it out!
I still love C'mon - It sounds Animal-era Ke$ha to me and thats what I like about it much, it's not try-hard like Die Young and the one-liners are exactly what I wanted.

Die Young could've been second single and dropped the week before the world was supposed to end Sigh I hate thinking about how they done this era so much wrong. Crazy Kids better get single treatment.
