Maybe not a "lot more" but did Jimi influence an entire decade's music scene I think not and this is coming from someone who thinks this band is severely overrated and i actually prefer Jimi

I'll give you the better lyrics but no way in hell is Nirvana more influential than Hendrix. Nirvana's influence is not the music anyways but what they represented. Nirvana's albums were mediocre at best and sound so dated now. I mean even Pearl Jam had more musical chops. I do like Nirvana btw. I just find them a tad overrated.
Nirvana does not sound "dated" at all and i dunno i just always hear people talking about Kurt more than Jimi i might be wrong tho in the sense of influence.
