KELLY CLARKSON & THE FRAY Throw Down $$$ to Help Injured Stagehand
See, celebrities DO care ... especially Kelly Clarkson and The Fray -- who went into their own pockets to help cover medical bills for a stagehand who suffered a stroke while working on their tour.
It all went down in Phoenix, AZ on August 1 ... while setting up for the "Stronger" / "Scars & Stories" tour ... a 57-year-old stagehand suffered a hemorrhagic stroke and was rushed to the hospital. We're told the man had been offered health insurance through his job, but didn't sign up for it.
Sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... following the incident, a promoter for the concert series approached the music superstars to sign a "get well" card ... but Clarkson and The Fray took it one step further.
We're told both headliners -- along with other people involved in the production -- grabbed all the cash they had on hand and donated it to help pay for the stagehand's hospital bills. By the time they were done -- they collected $2,200.

Hey, not sure if posted but apparently Kelly visited the set of The Vampire Diaries today. Pretty cool, though I'm not sure why she was there tbh. Is she friends with anyone on the show?

The CW's No. 1 drama "The Vampire Diaries" has a lot of very high-profile fans lately! Just a few days after Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas said that "TVD" was her favorite show (and prompted an outpouring of support from the cast) another famous fan has emerged: "American Idol" winner and pop superstar Kelly Clarkson.
Clarkson visited the "Vampire Diaries" set in Atlanta on Wednesday -- but no, she's not filming a cameo appearance. Clarkson is in town for her show with The Fray in Alpharetta, GA on Wednesday night, and she swung by Mystic Falls for some good old fashioned fangirling. It all started when "Vampire Diaries" show runner Julie Plec went to see Clarkson and The Fray in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl. Since Plec has some friends in high places, she got to meet the band and Clarkson after the show (and she even got to live out a rockstar fantasy of her own). The night only got better when Clarkson told Plec that she's a fan of the show.
"And....as the capper to the night I just met @kelly_clarkson who it turns out is #TVDFamily. Gonna give her a set tour next week," Plec tweeted.
Kelly is seriously so sweet. I was reading some of the tweets from the Duets cast and some are like well we're still broke and not famous. I felt kinda bad. But it's nice to see that Kelly's singing with some of them at her concert. John tonight and Jordan on Friday.
I think we should include the medley from the BA tour in some way. Either as separate parts or as one cover medley.
Thanks for the response CS, I was going to add it but she also covers sweet child of mine in that medley for a few different concerts. Considering how many songs there are already & that the footage only goes for a minute or two I've left it out.
Regarding excluded duets, At a later stage maybe there can be a duets rate, both televised & in concert since she's done so many duets (divas, tribute concerts, tour covers, etc combined)

Here it is, ATRL's Kelly Clarkson Tour Cover Rate. There are fifty-two songs total selected from six tour legs
Rate Guidelines
- All but four songs have been provided with two links from a live performance.
Bare in mind, audio & video quality may not be the best but have tried to source the
best available. I have included a couple of televised performances of covers for audio
purposes only.
- Duets have not been included as this is solely a kelly cover rate. Apologies if I missed any
covers or excluded others, tried to make it fair.
- If you prefer to youtube other live versions of a cover, feel free to & rate from there as many
covers have been resung over the years.
- Rate from 0-10, zero being the lowest & ten being the highest. You can rate in decimals too.
- Finish your rates before sending them into me otherwise you're scores won't be included. Try
to rate fairly, remember the audio is not top notch.
Lastly, DEADLINE, the rates can be sent in from Friday, 10th of August. The rate will end on August 31st. A total of three weeks. After this period, all results will be correlated & released shortly after.
NB: As there the stronger summer & world tour underway, once it has concluded I will host a secondary rate for those covers. With those results, will repost ALL cover scores for the ultimate winner of both rates.

what did they expect to get? Do the hard yards, reality tv shows are brutal afterwards & ain't no-one getting a career from just appearing on duets
