oh ok. i liked creative pink better though. in terms of music, her recent stuff can't hold a candle to her older stuff. but that's just my opinion. she's still amazing, just not so much musically.

the producer that is totally underappreciated is eg white. but i guess compromising so much on what the label wants doesn't allow her to work with him more or have too many songs of his on the record.

but i really hope he will be more prominent in future projects. i feel like he knows the UMPH in her voice and i love his somber, eerie and neo-classic productions. i wished she would have gone that route instead of the super lame kelly clarkson pop/rock that doesn't do any justice to her talent whatsoever.

I just want an album that'll give her 4 or more top 10's and #1's. I think she needs one more super era before going experimental and crazy.

I'm not old enough yet to see P!nk become some kind of indie, never on the charts act. I don't think she's old enough either.

^ why is everyone afraid that being musically creative automatically means unsuccessful? pink has the starpower and pipes. she can make it work. she totally changed her sound from CTMH to m!ss and m!ss was highly successful.

it's like saying hot women can't be smart. those two things aren't mutually exclusive.

i think she will wait a few months longer. it seems that try this has burnt her. she was too overpresent between the m!ss release and try this release so that people weren't very interested in her because they couldn't take a little breather which hurt the try this sales. she even wanted to wait with the try this release but the label wouldn't have it.

she is deliberately taking her time now it seems. and i am totally okay with that. just hoping the new material will be worth the wait.

As long as Dave M directed her music videos, it will add colors and creativity to the album as a whole.

I think she's still try to figure out how she's going to represent herself in her next era.

More juicy alecia, more IDGAF type + the serious political alecia.

^ i for one am not talking about video creativity or tour creativity. i mean the songs, the musicality. because to me the album is the most important aspect of an era. the songs on it, the cohesiveness, the production, the chosen instruments, the voice, the lyrics, etc. etc. etc.

the record needs to be great. everything else will fall into place if it has to.
