Well, the whole 'they kicked me out conspiracy theory' wouldn't make sense if she kept in touch with more than 3 members unless some members have more power and say in the decisions regarding the group which I doubt tbh.

Not really. All it would take is a few of the members going to SM's directors/managers to cause a problem within the group. If SM felt the group was becoming unstable/fearing others would quit, I could see them deciding to remove Sica to "solve" it.

Either way 9/30 was unplanned and wasn't supposed to happen.

I pretty much agree with this. But I'm sure Jessica also contributed to the conflicts within the group with her new found job at that time. Anyway, we'll probably never know the truth and if we do it'll be after SNSD disband.

She probably did. Maybe she didn't address some members concerns about her business priorities.

Clearly some were fine with Blanc (Tiffany at least), but backstage others obviously weren't. I suspect that those members then went to SM with their concerns and it escalated from there.

I think we will hear versions of the truth, but it will only be once other members leave SM.

Until that time, SM will never allow them to talk about it.

The thing with Jessica-gate is just a bit weird. SM never expressed any distaste towards Jessica, and she didn't towards them either. She got out of her contract easily and spoke of how great they were afterwards. Why would it be SM's fault if she seemingly had no issues with them? But if there was a member vote or a certain group of members expressing getting her out, those specific members must have had a ridiculous chokehold/amount of power over SM. Which as a case seems very surprising. Especially within SM.

But honestly, you can expect certain members to be a bit ruffled by Jessica's (and other members) endeavours. I always thought being a Hyoyeon or Yuri in a group must be crap, getting the short end of the stick in terms of lines, solo promotions etc.

Sooyoung to an extent too, and it's somewhat ironic she's probably profited the most from Jessica's departure.

If I really think about it, I don't think TTS and Sunny really would have needed to feel pressured about Jessica's solo activities, it's not like it would have gotten in the way of anything they were going to be doing since both of their solos would have been slabbed anyway. The bottom of line of girls I could definitely see being a bit more problematic. I can see SHY being a bit more pressed at Jessica getting a Jungsis unit album/reality show and getting coins from her own business when at the time they weren't getting much more than a magazine spread here and there.
