Honestly, the disrespect that Idol showed toward Mariah is the medium for their tension. Nicki also perpetuated this fight by her constant barraging of Mariah on social media. I dont think this is something that could easily be repaired.
As for Ariana stans who are rude toward Mariah, it's best to ignore them because at the end of the day, it's Ariana that has a lot to prove. When confronted with facts, they shrivel up like raisans, as do most stans of pop girls.
