I still find it so odd to think that the majority of One Of The Boys was written from like 2004-2007 when the album came out in 2008. Nothing sounded dated AT ALL upon release and a lot of the songs are still fresh now.

Like "If You Can Afford Me" is like a decade old and it could still smash today tbh.

Um you do realise that If You Can Afford Me was written in like 2006 and Hot N Cold was one of the afterthought songs that was recorded in 2008 to have a more commercial sound, right?

Hot N Cold is the IYCAM rehash.

It really is the biggest snub from the album. No other song could have contended for 5th single other than that. It'd have gone Top 10 for sure.

At least Hummingbird Heartbeat received single treatment in Australia, even though it flopped because it was released two years too late.
