Zendaya launches her surprise single early on Capital FM
Today, Zendaya stopped by the Capital FM studios in the London, where she was interviewed about her music and personal life, and also, where Zendaya herself premiered her new single Beat Of My Drum earlier than it was planned! According to various websites, her team planned to premiere her new single on January 4th, but then Zendaya changed her mind and she decided to release & premiere her single way earlier than it was planned. During her interview, Zendaya explained everything about her new music, label, single, the early and unplanned release and more. Zendaya's single, Beat Of My Drum, was released on iTunes worldwidely right after it's premiere on radio station.
So, Zendaya, you're premiering your brand new single early! Why?
Well, originally, the song was planned to be released on January 4th, but then a lot of fans went on Twitter to complain, because I actually promised them to release my new single in 2013, and I kind of broke the promise, they even trended #ReleaseYourNewSingleZendaya on Twitter, and you know, I love my fans, they're my friends and I don't know where I would be without them, so me and my team were like, you know what, let's, let's do this unexpected release thing and release that damn single today, instead of January 4th. And so we did it, we re-booked the promo and then the next minute, I'm here, talking to you.
Are you planning to release your second album?
My debut album, self-titled album, flopped, and I decided to start working on the next one as soon as possible. I ended my contract with Hollywood Records, I've found a new label and I started to record everything as soon as possible. Beat Of My Drum was meant for the first album, but it wasn't strong enough, and now we've reworked on it, one producer, Paul Ephamous remixed and re-did it, and it ended up being the lead single, because now, the production is strong and the song itself, it's very passionate, it's awesome, very refreshing. And now, yeah, I'm working on second album, I'm going for this refreshing urban, dance, pop sound, I'm going for something that is not playing on the radio now.
Do you have a lot of things to do this week?
Yes, I'm super busy this week and I don't even know if I'll do everything I want this week, but I'll try to work my ass off, I'll try to do everything that I've planned, and, well, that's a lot. I'm doing a lot of gigs, I'll be performing at some night clubs, even smaller arenas, I'll do some charity events... Well, actually, a lot, I don't think I could name everything at the moment because it's a lot. But, work is my hobby, and I love working, I'm a perfectionist, so I'm happy that I'm busy and I have a lot of work and people actually wants to see me at some kind of concert or something. That makes me just get it together, lift my chin up and do the best I can, do my thang.
You have signed with fresh new label, Indigo Records. Why you've left Hollywood Records?
Hollywood Records, um, they didn't gave me everything that I deserved. My song actually was doing really good on iTunes, Replay, and it was all thanks to one single discount, I've almost reached Top 20, and um, but everything I've achieved with that single was because of me, my tweets, my photos, my own promo. They didn't book me anything, I only performed on The Ellen DeGeneres show, and The Today show, but my fans had to beg Elvis Duran to get me on that show. And that was basically it. My album flopped because nobody knew it was out, nobody knew that I had an album out, because they didn't promote it, at all. So I left, and I joined Indigo Records pannel.

Christina Aguilera performs at X Factor
Legend X can't stop promoting even if it is The New Year's Eve. The singer performed at a special edition of the show. She began with her newest song (which is a free download on her website): A New Xtina (Let There Be Success). After this, she performed a mash-up of Freedom and Something Something, ending with the latter. The performance featured a lot of neon lights and Legend X looked very hot. Her dancing was amazing too.

Zendaya performs at New Pop Festival
Earlier today, Zendaya stopped by New Pop Festival in London, where she performed a whole set of her older songs, and she also performed her new single, Beat Of My Drum for the first time ever live. Her performances were full of light effects and a lot of dancers. Zendaya danced along with her dancers through all of the songs that she performed. Zendaya's set started with performances of her older songs from the debut single. She performed energetic and cool songs like Scared, Love You Forever, Bottle You Up, Only When You're Close and Fireflies. These performances were really simple and consisted of Zendaya singing and dancing along with her dancers. To end her six songs long set, she chose her new single, Beat Of My Drum. When Fireflies performance ended, the lights went off for couple of seconds, and as soon as the banging and knocking instrumental started playing, the lights went flashy, but people could see her and her dancers standing still, with their hands crossed. As soon as the lights were back on, Zendaya started singing. She was giving her heart out by performing this song, and you can tell, that her voice really improved from the last time and from her self-titled debut album era. Dancers had some kind of neon light sticks in their hands and they were doing numerous tricks with them. Right before the chorus, the instrumental suddenly stopped for couple of seconds, and two dancers threw their light sticks with Zendaya, who was standing infront of drums. As soon as Zendaya professionally caught those sticks, she started banging those drums like some kind of professional drummer, and audience went wild as soon as she started playing the drums. After couple of seconds when Zendaya banged those drums, even more knocking chorus started and then she danced alongside with those drummers, shaking her hips and hair everywhere. During the second chorus, Zendaya walked down from the stage into the crowd and danced with them, and she also showed off her amazing dancing skills. After her performance, the audience went wild. Later, after that festival, popular website in UK, Popjustice.com, posted an article about Zendaya's appearance at New Pop Festival, and, according to him, quote, "Zendaya saved this whole New Pop festival, especially with Beat Of My Drum performance. I'm really glad that I saw her live, and I could even promote her on this website until the rest of my life if I could get that feeling that I got while seeing her perform Beat Of My Drum. That song is magic, it's magical."

METRO RADIO INTERVIEW
Eric Saade stopped to sit down with Metro Radio DJ's for a short interview after his set at Metro Radio's 2013 Annual concert.
About the process of recording an album:
It can be an easy process or a grueling process. Grueling like having to record so many songs that you know it's hell to even decide on ten or you know you can record some songs and just know which ones should make the album. Recording and making Exposé was a mix between the two.
Who are some people you want to collaborate with?
I would love to do something with Bruno Mars or some K-Pop artists. I think they'd be really interesting to work with. They're completely different from each other but I want to try something with them. It'd be a lot of fun, I think.
About achieving success:
Success doesn't come without hardwork. So for the aspiring musicians out there just work hard. All the hardwork will pay off if you work towards your dreams enough.
About his situation with Selena Gomez.
We're at the moment just friends. That's alll I can say.
How to deal with a breakup.
I found out that time heals everything. It'll all get better in time. (Better In Time on iTunes now)

VEVO ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE
Eric Saade filmed an acoustic performance of the his second single 'Sophistication' that was uploaded to his VEVO channel today. It featured Saade and two back up guitarist playing the song acoustically as Saade's voice sounded sweet over the stripped back production. Saade seems happier than usual while singing, laughing at one point during the song only to keep singing. Saade's personaity really shined throughout the performance.
