The radio premiere is for the general public that doesn't stalk Avril like we do. I don't think seven hours between the iTunes release and the Ryan premiere is going to make the radio premiere seem "pointless" The GP won't notice the difference.
Avril usually gets me with her first singles and I love the sound of this, sounds like classic Avril. I could never really get into rock, but P!nk and Avril's stuff are so good I can't help it lol. Sometimes even Kelly Clarkson too, so I hope this is great. Sounds like an anthem!
