I forgot to tell you guys. I mentioned before I work with a lot of Germans cause I live in the part of the Netherlands that is nipped between Belgium and Germany.
Anyways, I also previously stated how Germany is clearing elementary schools to house the refugees.
One of the guys I work with lives across the street from a school so he sees the refugees daily now.
He told me today that Saturday morning he was waiting for a friend to come pick him up for their football match.
Out comes a refugee and lights a cigarette on the side walk, minute later there comes a big BMW, the guy gets in and they both leave. He told me he was so shocked lmao. It's something you don't expect at all

I'm not ready for the refugees to run over the city, there are already too many homeless people and drug addicts in the street

Most students as far as I'm aware leave university accommodation after a year anyway, this is a temporary solution. Using passive-aggressive terms like 'disgusting' is unwarranted, some of these people are coming from war-torn countries.

Nope, students can live in these rooms for their entire studies + 1 extra year, so if they study for 10 years they are allowed to live there for 11 years. You also hit the nail in the head.... SOME of the refugees are from war-torn countries, these refugees aren't, cuz they are from Eritrea, not Syria

And that number will rise, as they have A LOT more children than Europeans. Once they get a higher percentage they'll start pushing for new laws that are against eEuropean values.

The Erasmus University Rotterdam has closed all sports facilities for the past week to house hundreds of migrants. They're also starting to give scholarships to let migrants study at the university.
It's an admirable idea but why do I feel like the gworls will start flocking there for guaranteed scholarships?

There are already a good 25-30 million Muslims in the EU so 4 mill in just a couple of years is a significant increase.

there are 500 million people in the EU. 4 million is almost nothing. Even if 4 million will arrive the pecentage of muslism will increase by 1 %. (from 4% to 5%) Stop being overdramatic.

That's data from the second quarter. The second quarter ended in June, two months before Merkel virtually invited all Syrians to come here.
The overwhelming majority of refugees that arrived since then have been Syrians.

I'm not quite sure what's so funny. You look at the trends and then the whole story isn't so funny but keep laughing.

I understand that but surely finding private accommodation can't be hard? That's what students in the rest of the world do, we find private accommodation because we are adults . Eritrea refugees running from their corrupt government is a crisis that has been going on for a while now, north Africa, colonization, ring a bell? You can't blame these people leaving their countries when they are forced to work like slaves, when they are forcefully conscripted into the military and live in such brutal regimes that people fear for their lives everyday. And guess who's fault it is? Europe and a lot of very greedy corrupt corporations. You would run away at any given opportunity as well if it was your family I assume?
These people are looking for a better future for their children, for goodness sake have some compassion. The only thing disgusting here is your lack of empathy for these people and saying they should be deported ASAP, fearmongering is not going to help anyone.

because it's not a large amount? ISIS will hopefully be wiped out soon, this should all be temporary and i can see it lasting for a decade at worst, even if 10m more were to come along it's still minimal when evenly distributed in europe.

18 year olds leaving for another city are hardly adults yet + private housing is hard to find and if you do find it, it's expensive as hell, there is no way a student could pay that amount. Eritrea is a perfectly fine country to send them back to right now... no one is fear mongering, but they should be deported asap, there is literally no reason for them to come here if they are not going to make an effort to learn Dutch, get a job, and leave their medieval homophobic values behind

They do not want to be evenly distributed. When will they comprende???
Another statistic, a European woman gives birth to 1,4 child in her lifetime on average. Guess how many is that by Muslims? So while the European numbers are steadily decreasing the Muslims will rise by birth and migration. Nobody can exactly predict the effects of these trends in 30 years time but the picture as of today is bad. France's secular society will be definitely in ****!

If you're so worried about 'laws that are against European values' just take a look at what your government is doing right now. It doesn't take any Muslim refugees for that.

You get a job and graft sunshine, that's what most London central students do and believe you me London is one of the most expensive student cities to live in.
Eritrea is a perfectly fine country yet there are cases of extrajudicial killing, slave-like work hours, enforced disappearance and incommunicado detention, arbitrary arrest and detention, torture, inhumane prison conditions, indefinite national service, and lack of freedom of expression and opinion. Sounds like paradise.
We are also as a continent indirectly accountable for the way things have turned out out there + most migrants do make an effort to get a job and despite differing religious views they are still humans, stop making ridiculous excuses up to hide your baseless (?) prejudice.

Because they would not want to stay in Hungary anyway, where social benefits are much lower than in Germany or Sweden. Who is forcing who if we make them stay ???

Finland is also not good enough:
Iraqis on Facebook warn compatriots against coming to Finland
Members of a popular Iraqi Facebook page have been posting messages relating to their experiences as migrants in Finland. In one cellphone video posted on the page three Iraqi men advise their compatriots in Arabic:
Quote:
"If you are thinking about coming here, seriously, don't! We are already considering coming back to Iraq. We regret coming here. We were wrong! We paid huge amounts for nothing," Ali, Kadar and Ali are heard saying in the video. "Coming here was a mistake."
|
The trio also bemoans a lack of clothing, high prices and small meal sizes in reception centres in addition to bad employment opportunities.
Another video on the page features a man called Mustafa standing outside the reception centre on Kaarlenkatu in Helsinki.
Quote:
"It's much better to live in Iraq," he says in the video. "It is dangerous there, but so be it. I'm definitely going back. I'd rather die in my home country."
"It is just terrible here. It's safe and there are all kinds of things available, but we are suffocating."

What is the Hungarian government doing that's against European values? Building a fence so people can't enter unless we let them? Does looking the front door of your house go against European values?

I'm talking about building fences and the police using water guns to keep them away from your borders. If they don't want to stay but just pass through your country then what's the point of all of that?
The quota IS coming and some refugees WILL end up in Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic or wherever. And they'll deal with it because they'll still be better off than where they came from. At least the ones who truly fled from war. The rest can go home.
