The way they call themselves the "Islamic State" makes their intentions obvious. They want everyone to see Muslims as ONE people with the same goal (as them). Because when the average person sees an article with the headline "the Islamic State makes a response..." they will literally think that they mean the general Muslim community. It's one of their ways of making islamophobia fester in the West. So, we should refrain from calling them this.

the problem with this video sis is that once again she is associating the religion with the ppl. like she is making a general assumption that islam promotes this behavior when it actuality it is extremism (which is found in every religion or political party etc...)

Islamic people are not what's being criticized. Islam itself however, is open to being criticized just like how Christianity / Catholicism and everything else.
Being afraid of offending someone because you said their religion may be problematic should not be a concern.
This is what ISIS wants. They want the whole world to hate on the Muslim community, they want us to their against the innocent Muslims, so that they will have more and more, in the millions to brainwash and lure into believing what they want them to believe, and it's how they recruit.
They want to create that divide, the world against the muslim community because they want more naive people on their side, so their army filled of hatred and bigotry will become stronger.
Remember, ISIS kills everyone, not just non-muslim people, but Muslim who condemn their actions, and kill them in honour of the image of an Allah they have created fabricated, and manipulated.

Judging from your username, I can see why you would want to defend Islam.
I would never do it. The simple fact that women are treated as the second class and have no freedom of speech and expressing themselves says it all. It is NOT a peaceful and loving religion.
The only issue I have with these discussions are those that act like Islam is special in these types of things. History shows us all Abrahamic religions are blood filled. You can rightfully criticize the ideologies of Islam but a good bit of you have no idea how to do that while separating the people from it.
