Is there a big difference between the US and International Version?
Well, kinda. The International version features "Against All Odds" with Westlife as well as "Sweetheart".
The US version has "Vanishing" (from her debut), the glorious "Anytime You Need A Friend (C&C Club Remix)" (one of the best remixes in pop history tbh), "The Roof (Mobb Deep Extended Version)", "Close My Eyes" (both from "Butterfly"), and "Bliss" (from "Rainbow"). Whoever chose and arranged the songs for the US "Essentials" did a good job. It could even be that Mariah herself was involved there because "Someday" (a #1 from the debut) is missing and she's not too fond of the final version of the song. But anyway, all in all it is the compilation album that represents her discography best. If you have the chance get that album.
