Kelly C just announced she's signed to Atlantic, and she did say that it's the first record label that allows her freeway to pursue what she wants to do. She's going to release a soulful album. She didn't shade RCA or anything.

But it just validates what we all have been saying. P!nk's hands are tied herself because of this record label.

I don't blame P!nk for the records deal, in fact I was so very happy knowing that she'll deliver more for us, but knowing that RCA is all about that "produce **** and ear candy pop" If I were P!nk, I felt like being deceived.

Another TTAL alike will be boring because we've heard it all before.

Yeah, and KC was really excited because this record label was open to her doing soulful, country albums, which she's always wanted to do. She even said it's boring to sing the same-old songs.

I think it's the same fight P!nk is fighting. That's why she said she had to do rose ave on the sly

I hope P!nk at least can take the lead, as I remember from some of her interviews, she hated Arista during Try This because she was pushed by the label to make album.

Now, the positive side with RCA is they give her enough time for her creativity to flourish and ready to record her material. The problem I guess, RCA will only there for P!nk with her generic pop.

P!nk can definitely compromise with RCA to give her a try for a more experimental album but idk... just my expectations.
