I agree with the first part. Avril has balls and when she sings "I Don't Have To Try" she is 100% convincing.

The 2nd part, a little less so. She does make some of her songs more pop and radio friendly ("Girlfriend"), And though she may not use Timbaland, she did sign on Lil Mama to try to get some hip-hop cred for "Girlfriend" so as to get her song played on more radio stations.

But still, she's a cool chick.
