Again, take that up with film critics, Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, the American Film Institute, and most likely the academy.
Most of them say it's a well-made basic rehash and gave it a favourable score just because of the disaster that were prequels. Disney Marketing really outdid themselves.
I wasn't around then but I heard that the first SW movie was nominated for ten Academy Awards (including Best Picture) and won seven? Yikes @ some others that didn't even get nominated.

Remember when Alan Rickman was supposed to sweep the Oscars and didn't even get a nomination for DH2? Not everyone can be as iconic or as great an actor as Alec Guinness.
I'm watching Save or Kill videos interviews with celebs and almost all of them save The Wire instead of Mad Men. Truly the most acclaimed show of all time. Some of them even draggin Mad Men for being slow. hehe.
