Yikes. I literally haven't said a word on it in days because y'all pulled out ignorant-ass accusations like this saying I'm only critiquing it cuz I hate Gaga (which I've explained away so many times but I guess y'all have memory loss but w/e). Pathetically beating a dead horse.
When you take a pop star who was hired, with no doubt, simply because of her star power, especially when she has ZERO acting experience and put her as the lead of one of the biggest TV shows, she's gonna be under a ****ing microscope because she has no business being in a role this big right off the bat.
Flicker had some of her best and some of her worst acting. Her best was in the modern-day parts and her worst (As in ****ing Taissa-level) was in the flashbacks.
Flicker was a messy episode and it's horribly apparent that the rewrites began with this episode and that Gaga probably wasn't supposed to be in it at all to begin with before she decided to be in all episodes instead of just 8, and that's ****ing with something that was actually going pretty damn smoothly. It's not the worst episode, but it's definitely not the best. But I guess the fact that the critics like it (Just like they liked most of Freak Show!) means y'all have to like it too.
If y'all can spam the thread with "YAS GAGA SHE'S ACTING SO GOOD", then I can do the same with my contradicting opinion, and it's still not because I hate Gaga. I've praised her when she does good, and this was not one of those times. Get over it.

I agree with you on everything EXCEPT the part about Flicker. I find her modern day acting so cringing, while i was impressed by her acting during the flashback scenes. And i LOVED the episode. It made the season interesting again.
I've expressed my feelings towards Gaga in AHS, but Flicker kind of made me re-think everything. I'll wait for the next episodes to judge her completely, as she now has the chance to show of if she's capable of holding her own next to such talented cast.
