from the last interview (forgot which one) i really think that her new album won't be out until end of this year/next year. she obviously doesn't even know if her material she's recorded is good enough for a record. but it could also be that RCA will push her to release anything to just ride the JLF/disney wave.
anyway, i am actually glad that she admitted herself that she isn't much into making music these days and doesn't put it as a high priority. i mean, it very, very much showed ever since her GH:SF!! songs and i never believed one bit that TTAL was the best she could do, so it was weird seeing her lobby so hard for that mediocre body of "work".
at least she's kinda admitted that her heart isn't much into it, something a lot of us have known/felt/heard for a while. this way, it's sort of a big relief for me and i don't have to expect actual good music from her like i actually always do for a while now and can just enjoy whatever she'll come along with next and just write it off as "paying her bills" music.

Yeah. She could please us easily by giving us an acoustic album of her songs stripped down. Lol. I would totally buy that. She's actually one artist I could see getting away with that too.

you mean like alanis' jagged little pill re-release as an unplugged album? that would actually be pretty cool! imagine m!ssundaztood -- unplugged
What hit Slick most was Pink’s “straight attack.” “Pink sings with power, but it’s something more. You sense that if she wanted to, she could open the throttle even more at any time. That coiled energy creates drama and catches the ear.”
