There's also something new at work that started a little over a year go -- "elderly" Korean males who used to not bother with these things are spending more and more time partaking in these cultural activities.
They're watching dramas, reality programing, music and attending movies in numbers never seen before. The success of shows like "Real Men" and the nostalgia "Reply" series (which resulted with the uncle-popularity of idols like A Pink's Eunji and Tiny-G's Dohee) is being built off this new found, older male audience.
Last year, the daily drama series "Cheer Up, Mr. Kim" on KBS was the first show of its kind to experience this older male tune-in phenomenon. The series that followed it, "Tale of Two Sisters" pretty much avoided a ratings disaster with these viewers. And the series that followed it, "Melody of Love," has continued the trend.
Of course, "Melody of Love" stars SISTAR's Dasom. And Dasom also stars in that "Some" MV. Probably just a coincidence.
Hey, old people like to get "Some," too.
Of all age groups tho, how are 60/70 year olds up at 4am to stream Some?
Not me anticipating 2NE1's MV to be out by the time I came home, I should of known better
BTW Crush the song is still giving me life, Bom's first verse with her confident vocals >>>>>>>
