Just figured I'd share with you guys that Avril was the first girl I stanned for. My first concert was her Try to Shut me Up tour in 2003 when I was 5. Recently I've been revisiting her first three albums and they are still so good. She was so punk and badass. She lost me after TBDT but her early music and image still means so much to me and will forever be close to my heart. Hope she works through whatever she is dealing with and makes a swift recovery.

I kind of agree with you about The Best Damn Thing but I like ha self-titled a lot, so
I'm not worried, Avril will perform it at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve to celebrate 3 years since the iconic release of worldwide smash What the Hell, with a free download of the Mandarin version on her Facebook page. With downloads + streaming it will become the #1 smash it should be and become Vevo certified before the week ends.
Avril started writing for 5th album at the end of 2012, through Epic force changes, then she finally released HTNGU before the fall of 2013. Now, we are moving on to 2015 but we got no news about her in the studio, I'm afraid that we will not get the single until the next fall of 2015
I'm expecting some news at least until February, 2015. Avril seems to be more connected on Twitter and even commented about some projects shes planning on doing next year so i hope she say something soon

I can vividly remember this day back in 2011 when I was patiently waiting for the debut of What The Hell. I have overplayed it's 30-second sample in some site and I was in love with it. Can't say the same for the full song. But oh well, I learned to like it.
