Paps don't just appear out of nowhere. LAX probably does have some paps on stand by like every day but usually someone has to call 'em in advance to tell that this person will be somewhere at some time. Someone from the first class must have given the paps a hint that Adele is coming to town.
I wouldn't feel sorry for Rihanna though because she obviously likes to be the center of attention. I'm sure she has someone in her team who always calls the paps. She, Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton are the kind of people who use paparazzi for fame.
The paparazzi live at some airports, especially the big ones where celebs come in and out all day (LAX, JFK, Heathrow, etc).
She should go to smaller airports though as LAX is the worst when it comes to paparazzi.
Exactly my point, though upon further consideration, perhaps the reason for LAX is that there aren't straight-through flights from Heathrow or w/e to the smaller California airports?

I don't see why she doesn't fly into San Diego when she needs to be in Cali. I mean, it's a little further out of course but it'd likely save her and her son miles of pap trouble...
Oh ok, that would make more sense. So that's proabbaly what she said. And yes she just shouldn't use LAX at all. The paps are always there.
And a collab on one of her albums wouldn't work. Her albums are about her life so putting someone else on there makes no sense.
And I doubt she'd go all the way out there to work on one song or even attend a meeting when she can do all of that in the UK.
I'm not here for a Gaga collab, but if she were, it would probably be for Gaga's new album instead. I think she is out there for work on the album and the rehearsing for a Grammy comeback, hopefully.
