No, not really. She's done more to capitalize on opportunity than most pop stars. Everybody has their missteps, of course, but there's never been anything on this level before, IMO.

Imo, Alejandro would've been way more huge with a better and brighter video. I think TEOG is the Alejandro of this era. It does good, but she destroyed it.
I remember Alejandro even fell down after its video release.

Alejandro did about as well as I expected it to, even better overseas. She could have gone the obvious "Eh Eh" route for the video, but I'm glad she didn't. Of course I've always really liked the Alejandro video and think it contributes well to her videography.
