Actually, what I most appreciate about it is that it's cohesive and sounds like a body of work, unlike MDNA or Rebel Heart that throw everything in one place and sound more like singles collections (even though I love RH).
Funny, just yesterday I was being slain by Hard GRAMMY and was thinking the same thing. I do too much on it. It really has so many BOPS on it. It's, like you said, extremely cohesive and almost every track is good. No where near her best, but still, the HC lows do not come close to MDNA's.

Maybe it's because it came after Confessions idk, but the album bops from start to finish, it's cohesive and it's fun. That being said, it's true it's not one of her best, but then you have trash like MDNA which gets ignored by most fans to the detriment of Hard Grammy. All the hate HC gets should go to MDNA

Nah, Spanish Lesson and Incredible (EDIT: and Ring My Bell....ugh I forgot about that mess) are worse than anything on MDNA. Plus when MDNA gets it right it actually has a few gems whereas Hard Candy just stands out for being consistently "meh"
And Hard Candy gets the most hate (and deserves it) because it marks the true start of Madonna being a trend follower and not a trendsetter with her music.
