I'm done expecting/predicting anything for Gags. She and her career are crazy and erratic in both peaks and valleys... ANYTHING can happen at any moment, you really can't tell with her. Next year I honestly believe she has the possibility of pulling a 21 or becoming as relevant as Cher currently is. Literally heaven and hell are the limits for her.

I think what we have to remember is that a "comeback" after BTW will be different from a "comeback" after ARTPOP. We'll see different actions now than then.

The former was still wildly successful, and both she and her label knew that. They underestimated the damage and the work that had to be done to win people back because it appeared to be simply a case of 'lightening things up' and being pop-ier. I think they were still quite complacent. If Interscope were really concerned, they'd have had a tighter grip on the album. Bar the will it/won't it make it RedOne co-credit and the probably last minute Will.I.Am obvious-non single, it's unknown DJ's with no hits to their name. They weren't playing it safe.

ARTPOP will be different. Assuming she is cooperative, they'll be fighting hard. This era is a much bigger slice of humble pie than BTW ever served.
