With X-Factor as huge automatic promo a release would be an excellent way to capitalize on everything. She could perform on X-Factor too for extra promo like Cheryl Cole did on the UK version (twice I think).

I just hope they don't try to make a "Blackout 2.0", I just want an album to match how fresh, innovative and revolutionary "Blackout" was when released in 2007.
Don't you guys think its to early for a new album? I mean new Brit music is always welcome. However dont you guys think that the public should warm up to her on Xfactor for atleast one season, before she releases a new album.
Also the record would have to be put together sorta fast, unless they release another greatest hits album. Being on the xfactor would def benifit sales for her previous catalogue.
I want Britney's second season on X-Factor next year used to promote her 8th studio album. New single start of October, album end of November, perform and debut the music videos on the show, commercials whoring her album out like ****, etc...
This year on X-Factor should just improve her image, promote Femme Fatale, her back catalogue and she could perform a medley of her hits or the the four FF singles for her 2million performance deal.
It'd be better to release an album this year. Circus was recorded in only 3 months so time shouldn't be a problem. She can improve her image this year on x factor AND use it to promote her new album at the same time.
