When she's in striking distance of Reba, they'll probably go for it. She'd need two more Platinum certifications after that so B9 is gonna have to smash if we want updated certifications

TSC will be eligible for Gold sometime either next year or the year after. They need to discount it around Q4, imo.

My solution for albums that are close to certification = add the most recent flop release to its total.

GH:MP - Add in the remix album, over 2M sold w/ Nielsen Soundscan and BMG/Columbia House.
Circus - Add in TSC, over or close to 2M.
Femme Fatale - 800K + BJ's 265K = 1.065M.

Well shipping 1M and 2M it's quiet difference although Circus had huge first few weeks

They probably shipped almost everything in December 2008 and after Xmas and when hype died, album started slowing down really quickly.

Yes they are. It's free and easy promo and increases an artist's booking fee, which helps with private concerts and endorsements. They are very aware of record sales for their artists since it is where the majority of their revenue comes from.

I can deal with GHMP and Circus as well as TSC in a couple of years.
PLus a gold/platinum 9th album
