Corrin feels incredibly strong and braindead to play but I love the character and the ideas behind them. Female should have been the default tbh.
Bayonetta is so fun to play as but challenging to use correctly. She's especially frustrating against certain level 9 CPUs and their input reading that leads to their spot-on shielding and lack of susceptibility to fall for Witch Time. Love her dialogue and how well they translated her personality to Smash while keeping her kid-friendly.
Great additions to the game but I still feel like I was deprived of a finale-worthy character as I have no connection to either of them. But if Smash NX as a launch title is true, I assume they are saving the heavy hitting first parties for that. And if that is true, they better have some sort of loyalty discount for Wii U and DLC owners for sticking with them in their flop era. I didn't shell out over $100 on this iteration of Smash to have it all bundled together again but made better a year later. Idc how much I love the series.
