I would even go as far as to claim that the recent frequency in UFOs sightings comes from them wanting to take a peek at Taylor.

Well this is her latest. She should be milking her latest for all it is worth. Putting it on stream would only ruin her albums sales. Other artist should be following her, to be honest.
The ONLY reason Spotify pays artists during free trails & the free version of Spotify is because they use Ads inorder to pay. Apple Music doesn't have ads & I doubt they would use the profit from their other products inorder to pay Artists.

And it's not really the artist's choice either to put their music on Apple. Taylor can control it because she's basically on an indie label but for everyone else, their label's parent company did the negotiations and they have to go along with whatever UMG, etc decides.
Umm, labels don't lose money from pirating. Yeah, it's lowered their profits, but most people pirating wouldn't buy the album regardless because people don't value music the way they used to. It isn't like every time someone pirates an album, $10 escapes the label's bank account.
And as it has already been stated, labels will profit more from Apple Music after the trial period not only because they pay more but also because they reach a wider user base. Taylor is the only major artist to be showing opposition so the rest of the music industry obviously doesn't see an issue with it.
What's interesting to me is that a majority of artists don't seem to have a problem with the popular streaming services, and those that do(Taylor and the Tidal crew) happen to be millionaires.
If they are signed to major labels, they dont have much of a choice. The streaming companies sign deals with the labels not artists individually so even they dont agree with it, they cant do much about it except not renew their record deal when its up.

I pay for Rihanna's, Nicki's, Drake's and Kanye's music via itunes and that's it.

Taylor disagrees with anything related to the music industry anyway. She doesn't see streaming is the future, which I disagree with but her selling power is immense, which is why she opposes it.
The "i care for indies" is a nice way to package her concern and make it selfless, but let's not kid ourselves that a queen can possibly BE totally selfless.

Then they're losing money. I didn't mean to talk about the actual cost of manufacture. Obviously a song doesn't need metal and raw materials but in essence the artists are giving away their property. Same as if Apple have away their iPhone.
