I don't know why if they said the single will most likely be "Erase and Rewind" or "Crank it up" and she's not performing that anywhere. Instead she's performing What if, Hot mess... Which are great single choices but IDK :S

Totally agreed. Where did you get that E&R was most likely too? I thought Ashley said that herslef that WB have narrowed it down between Masquerade and Crank It Up. I wouldn't mind E&R as the next single (I LOVE the song) but I would think that Crank It Up could revive this album from the dead as of right now.

Really? Like which blogs? I love the song but I think it's better to go with Crank It Up to revive this album. I totally hope What If becomes a single at some point in the future.

They are just saying that it's the 2nd single because it was released on iTunes as the 2nd single after "It's Alright, It's OK". I remember when everyone thought that it was the official single, and not just a promo, most of them said that they heard it won't have a music video.
Those were just rumors and they're old.
I think she should release "Hot Mess" to save the album, it's very radio-friendly and I think it has the potential to be a hit.
I think that only "Acting Out", "Masquerade", "Hot Mess", "What If", "Erase and Rewind" and "Crank It Up" are single materials.
I don't think that "What If", "Acting Out" or "Crank It Up" are the best choices for a 2nd single though.
I hope she chooses "Masquerade", though I think "Hot Mess" would do better.

Those rumors are old. But I totally agree with the single materials. But I don't think they will actually give out four or five singles. I think WB would only give 3. So I hope they make the right choices so it could save the album. Don't get me wrong but I don't really can see Hot Mess playing on radios a lot. But I think EAR, M, WI, and CIU would get played more. But it's just my instinct. I'm still hoping on Crank It Up . EAR is right behind it so is Masquerade.

That would be very nice to have 7 singles!
But that just won't happen.
I think the singles should go this way,
2nd - CIU, 3rd - WI (to fit in the winter theme), 4th - EAR, 5th- M.
I just think WB will give 5 singles if she turns out to be more successful.

Yes! I was totally hoping that IAIO could become her first top 50 even top 40 hit but it never happened. so I'm hoping for it to happen for her next singles.

I love Ashley's new album is amazing! My favourite songs are "Erase & Rewind", "What If" and "Overrated" which would all make smashing singles.

I also like 'How Do You Love Someone' however the chorus sounds so similar to something I have heard before. And the verses in the song sound like a t.A.T.u song, maybe 'All About Us'.

they should have had the 2nd single out a long time ago.

I was worried about this. I saw all the great promo at the beginning and I knew WB wouldn't keep it up.

As far as singles go...

the only songs I see standing a chance on radio are...

1) Overrated - out of all of her "rock songs" this one sounds the best
2) What If
3) Hot Mess
4) Crank it Up - closest to her old sound and its a Tedder song

Masquerade could have a great video but she tries to hit some notes in it that she can't hit just like she couldn't hit them in IAIO so I don't see radio liking this song...

the majority of the public isn't buying her "I'm grown up now" image that she is trying to portray, so I don't see Acting Out as a single either. Hot Mess...I listed it above but it really depends on the video. The majority of the public didn't by "sexy Ashley" in IAIO so I don't know if they would buy her in Hot Mess.

PS: Ashley please don't have your boyfriend direct your next music video. I'm begging you.

I still can't believe that her album and single have completely flopped in the UK, they didn't go past the #100 mark.
I don't think she did much promotion in the UK, either that or the radio didn't like her songs.
