Legend X was signed before Britney, and released 2 songs before Baby One More Time so this comment makes no sense.

Pretty much.
Britney was huge at her debut ages, but that's pretty much about it. She couldn't maintain her successful era, she stared to plumments and begin to have a serial meltdown, which is very embarrassing, like she was not even ready to be a popstar. taylor, in the other hand is far more superior than britney in every possible single way , she gains more success on each album, she can maintain her success pretty well (3 album sold 1+ million), she knows what she's doing, she doesn't let the media get into her head, she is a perfect example what a popstar should be.
Britney will always be remembered as a teenage girl who was not ready for fame, she will always be remembered of her crazy antics meltdown, and now, she's turning into robotic mess artist, her moves are stiff and her expression is emotionless.

It's a perfect example, actually. "Reflection" showcased her conservative attire, singing an adult contemporary song.
Then 8 months after "...Baby One More Time" was released, she comes out with "Genie in a Bottle", wearing revealing tops with a much sexier video, singing uptempo bubblegum pop. She was obviously remade in Britney's image.

Not even going to address belittling someone for having mental illnesses, that's just so low and a sad thing to do, but at this post trying to make it seem like Britney plummeted into irrelevance after her first two albums. Britney sold 12m copies worldwide. In the Zone sold 8.5m. My Prerogative sold 5m. Blackout sold 3m. Circus sold 4.5m. All those albums produced worldwide hit singles, and she was by far the most talked-about celebrity in the world during all those years.

It wasn't only the dancing though. Their sound, dancing and image were all similar.
I thought you all were trying to say that she has influence over other artists. Your last statement contradicts that. I'm still gonna disagree though. That's basically saying that singers aren't trying to copy and follow trends nowadays... which obviously isn't true.

Then why is Roar a rip off of brave?
why is Born This Way a Express Yourself wannabe
why is Miley Cyrus ripping off Rihanna and beyone in the Bangerz Era

that is not mental illness, that is her poor reception to the fame, the fame get into her head, if anything, britney impact on nowadays pop culture is none other than her metldown antics, the likes of lindsay lohan and miley cyrus are pretty much of an example.
superior artist like Xtina, never let the media get into her head, she knows what she's doing, she knows what she's capable of. same goes to taylor, they both know who they are, they are far more talented than britney.

It was her first presentation to the public. If you don't think labels are very careful about how they present their artists to the public from the very start then you don't know anything about the music industry, in Xtina's case she was clearly headed in an adult contemporary route, which is what was standard for female solo artists at the time. Britney's sound and aesthetic was highly unusual for a solo female artist then.

Would you really consider a song like Reflection an exclusive adult contemporary song? It was for a Disney children's movie, and sang by a princess in the movie. What's more bubblegum pop than that? On top of that Genie, and Baby sound nothing alike. Why do you think X won the Grammy for Best New Artist over her?

No one irl remembers Britney's first two albums which y'all cling to the most. BOMT barely gets any airplay which y'all claim to be a classic. Her catalog sales are so embarrassing now for someone who had sold shitload of albums in the past.
