N it's a Hip-Hop / Rap GROUP. They are classified as Hip-Hop/Rap.

Saying "First female rapper to go #1 on iTunes as a Lead"
That's THREE stipulations right there which is downplaying the achievement.
Beyoncé was the first black woman from Houston with a child born in 2012 to have a top 3 hit this year, but the Hive ain't using that.
