Anyways, I'm not sure how the fact men pose in SPORTS shoots has anything to do with Nicki's shoot or the females who happen to be in Sports Illustrated modeling SWIMSUITS. Those sports shoots are usually naked.

Nicki had a top and bottom on. Those girls had suits on. Your point about naked males posing in action for SPORTS is neither here nor there, boo. And their poses in the SPORTS shoots are never regarded with the same respect (or lack of) as Nicki's or the female swim suit models.

Get your life though on those reaches. Comparing apples to lemon and limes. Comedy honestly.

I personally think its the WAY she went about it. It looks like a stereotypical Trina/Lil KIm photoshoot. It wasn't done in the most tasteful manner, and I think that people were a bit taken back especially considering her recently toned down image.

As for the magazine covers, I dont think that's a fair comparison because they're a swimsuit magazines???

As for the whole "race" thing, yes there is a double standard, but I don't think thats the case here. Its the way she's posed. People are quick to pull the race card..

She knew exactly what she was doing when she did this cover, and now she's gonna feed off of every little bit of attention it gets. But that's her hustle I guess..

No, it''s a SPORTS magazine. The swimsuit issue only exists to appeal to men to buy the magazine. They are posing sexually, not in a manner to show off the clothes. The main buyers of this magazine do not wear women's clothing, b/c they are men.

Okay, I understand that, but my point remains. These women are specifaclly posing for the swimsuit edition, so what does she expect? An uproar over everytime this issue is released?

I get her point, but I just don't think its 100% logical. The fact that she's trying to defend her huge ass flashed at a camera and then comparing it to swimsuit models baffels me. I personally think that she loves the talk and controversy and is only trying to bring more attention to it. Like I said, she knew exactly what she was doing and the response that this was going to receive.

Yes it is. My interpretation was that she was saying these swimsuits models are acceptable and she is not. I got that from the photos. The race thing is nowhere to be found.

Nicki knew what she was doing when she posted the cover. Hell, not everyone was going to love it. I, personally, don't see why she's acting surprised at the reactions she's getting, but it's not my place to speak on it.
