Ok. So. Joni Mitchell released a rerecorded version of "Both Sides, Now" as a single in 2000. She had never released it as a single before that, despite the fact that she put it on an album in the 60s. Is it eligible?

OMG I legitimately was going to try including Both Sides, Now too because of that (along with a remix of Blondie's Call Me released in 1989), but I wasn't sure if that would be pushing it too much
Just spent an hour () going through the wikipedia pages with all 25 of the Billboard Hot 100 Year-End charts necessary. Turns out some songs weren't as big as one would think, while others were much bigger.
It was really interesting to see how country music swept in around the turn of the century, while teen pop seemed to surge after the digital era began.
So from 1989 - now and only singles?
I keep thinking between two or three choices per artist ....its so hard.
