It has been tracked with mediatraffic for 600k. She is still above most of her peers. The only three who are doing better from her time period are JT, Beyonce, and Pink. One album shows she doesn't have consistency? Only two albums (FF and BJ) has sold less than 3 mil. FF came 13 years into her career. Also, noone acts as if Britney is the HBIC.

Britney Jean was a flop unfortunately, I mean...there's no debating that. It's like trying to argue that water isn't wet. Or actually, it's like arguing over whatever turd is the least stinky. At the end of the day it's still a turd.

Anyway, I like Brit and I want the next album to go much better for her. Hopefully she'll get a better EP next time.

Shakira. is at 594k as of now. I'm assuming from your 580k figure that it already outsold Britney Jean in half the time with a Q1 vs. Q4 holiday season release. Shakira's album is still selling pretty well every week so if it hasn't already surpassed Britney Jean, it definitely will soon.

Right. A lot of Shakira's strongest markets aren't accounted for (which has always skewed her record sales totals) so I'm fairly certain that it has already outsold Britney Jean (even without her biggest markets being accounted for). But according to the OP, Shakira. is a flop but Britney Jean isn't.
