UNLESS......
She is implying that the beats and the perfume are her pills and potions. In this case, she is saying she keeps her mind off of him by working harder, in this case with her beats partnership and perfume line. She puts all of her frustration into making herself better. That is kind of cute I guess....
It's obviously not Nicki's fault, but Diane Martel really self-plagiarized here. If you look at the Bangerz backdrop for My Darlin', the style for a lot of the graphics are really, really similar. Still a great video, though.
I really liked this video tbh. I thought the visuals were very interesting and she looked so flawless. The last shot really brought the meaning full circle and made me love it even more.
