You may need to go on if you want to prove your point because these are impressive but not really all THAT impressive when compared to the many other statistics that other artists have who are not previous winners of this award.

For example, having a #1 movie and #1 at the same time isn't really a contribution to music, that's a statistic for a record book and nothing more.

I never said it was easy, it's a really great stat. But if you have to spell out people's statistics because it's not already known to the GP or even ATRLers, then it's safe to say that there is very little effect to it.

With the same logic, I would find no interest to any of Beyonce's subheadings (for example) as a non-fan. I mean an "#1 album" is also a "fun statistic" if you dont realize how hard is to make this, how hard work needs, how few people have done this (compared to others) and blah blah blah. JLo bad or good is not only a singer. She is smth much more. And this double #1 proves that she is successful...

I have never stated, implied or even hinted at the fact that a #1 album is easy or unimpressive. The argument here is that a statistic does not prove musical contribution. It proves musical popularity. And as there are many popular musicians, including many that have actually contributed significantly to music (and even revolutionized it), it just seems odd to give it to J.Lo over for just one example, Madonna.

no no no..... its not a fun statistic Jennifer having a number 1 in both fields (movie/album) at the same time something know one had achieved is a career defining moment and a iconic moment for a artist for the simple reason it was the fact not only had she made it as a actress she had made it as a musician! something so many have tried and failed but to conquer both and come out on top is a amazing feat yes beyonce achieved that but nobody mentions it were as Jennifer's feat it always gets mentioned because of what she did even to this day actors turned singers and vise versa still have yet to do the same!

her Remix album,Spanish album,JLo album have all made history or broke some kind of record

she's achieved a lot more musically then what non fans etc don't know about just look into her music career she's one of the biggest selling artists to come out of the late 90s

JLo is an icon in pop culture. She's been around longer than most of our faves & easily continues to stay relevant. The fact that she has been successful in not only music but in film, fashion, & many other aspects of the entertainment industry makes her a true icon.

She's truly one of the best performers out of all the pop girls past and present. I'm so excited to her do First Love for the first time!
