That's what I'm asking of him too. If Harden had at least been half of what he usually is we could of won those two games. Every star has their slumps and I'm hoping this is the case. He said resting after the Rockets getting the 4th seed made him rusty. It may be too late. And we all know his defense is non-existent, but MJ didn't develop his defensive game till later in his career as well. My Rockets aren't getting anywhere until we get a Carmelo or Kevin Love and another coach that can draw up better plays, ISO basketball is not going to win chips, and can make better defensive adjustments. If Portland moves on, LMA is going to seem human again when he faces Pop in the next round.
If he didn't get it last season, he never will.
Plus the Mavs have experience.
