But those divas were all better than The current ones (except Maria, ew @ ha)
They were much more popular, and could've been handed the title at any given moment.

& that has to do with the way creative books them. It's not AJ's fault that today's creative team doesn't know how to build these girls characters. There's alot of talent in the division right now, the problem is there's no storylines and character progression.

Actually Torrie Wilson CAN wrestle, but WWE would always place her in Bikini Contest, making her a babyface. She even confirmed this in an interview, she was trained by Fit Finlay so she knew a lot of moves but WWE would force her to scale back.
Also Dawn Marie confirmed this too, they would train for HOURS bodyslamming the **** out of each other, but yet WWE would be like "Okay! Ready for your pudding match? ". WWE didn't take them serious
