I'm nearly at the end of ADWD, been reading super slowly and inconsistently for over a year now because there's no point in rushing anyway.

Like I said in the TV show thread, I'm really anticipating the Lady Stoneheart reveal. Imagine the momentum this show will have after Red Wedding-Purple Wedding-Lady Stoneheart all are pulled off succesfully.

Hmm I think capturing Brienne might be too soon. I'd prefer it if they do it just like in the ASOS epilogue. A random Frey guy riding somewhere bumps into the Brotherhood who capture him, then the person with the large hood steps forward and lowers her hood and BAM. I hope Michelle Fairley is doing LSH, she has a raspy voice anyway so she can pull it off.

YASSS!!! i loved the story of Dorne is AFFC! most fans seem to hate Dorne and the plot there, considering it unnecessary, but i thought it was deliciously sinister and underlying awesome! their plot is definitely gonna explode in the 6th book considering they are gonna tie their story to .. someone! :P
George said that initially Arianne wasnt even gonna have her POV chapters, but it was necessary to show some particular scene in future so GRRM had to write her POV.. i am so excited for whatever its gonna be!

i have long been sold on the theory that Jamie will be the valonquar. but i think it'll go differently than a blunt murder or something. i think after Tommen and Myrcella die(since her prophecy said her children will die before her) Jamie and Cercei will see their doom is near and die together! jamie killing cercei then killing himself. "we came into this world together, we'll leave together." kind of thing..

ADWD is my least fave of the 5 novels. theres no start or end, just a whole lot of middle-ness!

I expected Arya's storyline to be much farther along by now. Her and the Hound are cute, but it doesn't warrant an entire season of walking around the countryside. They've advanced other storylines. Hers should have been one of them.

The Internet widely agrees that he's the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark but I CANNOT see him with Sansa.....

But maybe that's just because I'm still holding out hope for Jon/Dany to rule as King and Queen after all is said and done <3

That's irrelevant they grew up together as siblings.
