I'm here for the Monster to get blocked from #1 tho
Well, Q4 of 2013 is the era of karma for the pop girls, so maybe Rihanna will get a taste.
But no, it's pretty much gonna be a Roar situation where the song is inevitably bound to #1, it's only a matter of when. It has big points on all the Hot 100 components while the rest are still catching up on some.

Very true. The song has little chance of NOT getting that #1. It's a monster on both airplay, streaming and sales (AND the video is not out). But i am always here for the meltdown of all the good sis on this forum
Wouldn't it be funny if the song is not getting #1 tonight, and in two weeks time, radio is going to pick up real hard on "Say Something" like they did to SLY. That would be interesting to watch.
Kworb's HDS prediction for today's chart: 1. Midnight Memories (307,000)
2. Diana (297,000)
3. Strong (273,000)
4. The Monster (234,000)
5. Royals (169,000)
6. Counting Stars (160,000)
7. Timber (153,000)
8. Demons (115,000)
9. Let Her Go (113,000) 10. Story of My Life (108,000)
Since the album hit iTunes an hour before the tracking period ended, they'll most likely be affected by Complete My Album, thus affecting their spot on the HDS chart.

I'm confused.
First: Why will CMA take affect prematurely rather than the week their album comes out?
Second: If the album hit an hour early, why won't the album itself debut on the Billboard 200 a week early?

I am going based on what happened with Gaga a couple of weeks ago. Her album went to iTunes one hour before midnight, and her singles were affected negatively when we saw the HDS numbers three days later.

Yes, but Gaga still debuted atop the Billboard 200, rather than have a premature debut before flying to #1 in its second week.
