Sinead O'Connor is one of the few people to have seen both the top and bottom of the music industry & she was being real with her. That letter is far more valuable than anything she'll get from her kiss-ass employees or manager. She is being 100% honest with her & telling her she doesn't need to prostitute herself (which she is doing) when she is as talented as she is.

Miley Cyrus has been surrounded by/ was being the spotlight of the music industry her whole life. She's very well self-aware of her image in the media and how to seperate your personal life with the time in the limelight being the center of attention.
