She did record an albums worth of music. Shes stated every single year for the past 7 that she was recording an album and that it would be out "soon" but it never happened. She never claimed her music took another direction after Repo but if you read that somewhere its ********. The bottom line was that no one would release it, thats why she created her own recording studio and label Heiress Records.

Success = more seasons = spinoffs period.
She's never sourced a label until this year. She took 3 different directions with this album it was NEVER supposed to be EDM until 2011 when she began all new sessions.
Paris takes a very long time with music. Her debut album was in development for years as well.
Any artist can use a recording studio, signed our not. Her building a studio in her home was because she wanted one. Labels don't own recording studios they rent them for artists as an option, not a rule. She could use any recording studio she wants, that has nothing to do with having a label or not.
And Heiress Records was created when she signed to Warner Bros.
