As some of you might have guessed, bridal season is upon us. This is no ordinary bridal challenge. As the title suggests, you are to put together a wedding look that's both extravagant and quite possibly uncomfortable. Couture is about intricate detailing, painfully cinched waists (though not a requirement) and fashion forward styles. If you were thinking of giving us some basic, comfortable, flowy gown from David's Bridal, you will just be sending yourself home. We want top designers using the finest fabrics with unique but still traditional bridal cuts.
Like the last challenge, there are a few requirements you must satisfy.
1. Put together a board including your bridal couture look, complete with accessories.
2. Your board must also include something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. These items can be apart of your accessories or they can be incorporated into the wedding itself.
3. Lastly, you must choose a venue for your wedding, along with a song to dance to with your groom. As usual, you must also include a description of the event and why it all fits with your person.
You will be judged on creativity and taking risks, as well as how everything connects.
The deadline will be MONDAY, AUGUST 12TH AT 8PM EST so you can have enough time to come up with high quality entries. Please PM your entry to both prayer and I, as well as any questions you might have if you are unsure of what we are asking for! Keep on the lookout for a possible twist halfway through the week.
For winning the last challenge, nineteen will be allowed to send in a draft of her entry to prayer and I, as well as get feedback and be allowed to re-do it if necessary!
