Coming in at #05 this year is Katy Perry's "Part Of Me." This her third year in a row to appear in my end of the year top 5. In 2020 it was "Firework and 2011 was "E.T." "Part of Me" is another good song.
Coming in at #04 this year is Kelly Clarkson's Stronger" (What Doesn't Kill You). Another song that defines 2012 in my opinion. Another classic Kelly Clarkson song.
Coming in at #03 this year is Neon Trees and their song "Everybody Talks." This year they proved they are no one hit wonder. This is their third year in a row appearing in my year end countdown and the fist time in the top 10.
The runner-up for 2012 is Foster The People's "Houdini." This is my favorite song from the album, so I'm glad it became a single and I also love the music video. This is their second year in a row to appear in my top 5 for the year. Last year it was "Pumped Up Kicks."
The # 1 song of 2012 for me is Fun's "We Are Young" featuring Janelle Monae. I like collaborations that are different and the song is unique. I have bot heard anything like it before.
The last bonus is Garbage and their song "Blood For Poppies." Another amazing song from them. It deserved to mentioned.

This album is so eclectic and unique. It's like nothing else has been released this year. Every songs stand out and it appeals to different moods and emotions. If you listen the to entire album from beginning to end it's like taking a journey and celebrating hope, love, life and freedom. This album should have not flopped.

I don't normally like her music but she has impressed me this era. This is the first album of hers that I actually enjoy. Her venturing into more of the pop genre is clearly exhibited but her soft spoken detail filled lyrics is still there. I can honestly say this is my favorite album she has put out.

It's very refreshing to hear from these guys again with this generation's music. Yellowcard has such a unique sound, which is combining punk rock with their violinist. They do what they do best, which is creating songs packed with lots of depth, energy and passion, and that's exactly what they did with "Southern Air." The album is fantastic.

Unfortunately many of the tracks are previous singles. Still though this is Calvin as his best. This album is good. i personally think the second half is perfect starting with "Iron."
