[ Another cover is out I don't know what Mary's obsession with covers is, but it's a must to have one cover per album. The song was a moderate hit in the U.S, but peaked at #4 in the U.K becoming one of her biggest hits there.
[ This is one of Musiq/Mary's gems!! Their voices meshed and flowed together perfectly. It is also one of Musiq's biggest hits on Billboard's Hot R&B/HipHop Songs chart.
As is one of my favorite covers by her and it never gets old. I thought I gave it a 10, maybe I gave it a 9 or 9.5. Didn't expect it to make it far though so I'm not too sad.
IfULeave is also great. But I couldn't give that a high score.
Highest Score-10 (Crazy Towel, Black Power, Passion4MyMusic,)
Lowest Score-3 (Madonnas)
[ “Stay Down” was the last single off of Mary’s most underrated album, Growing Pains. It should of been much bigger than it was. The lyrics, the vocals are amazing, but this Ice Age 2 music video is killing me
“You Don’t Have To Worry” was a single off of Mary’s remix album What’s the 411? Remix. I’m sure in the early 90s, this was the summer bop, but 20 years later, it sounds like a song that could have easily been recorded by SWV. I still like this I love a good new jack swing song. It’s so nostalgic.
