I just ordered an iPhone 4S. I was torn between waiting for the iPhone 5 or buying the iPhone 4S with a good contract now as seeing my Blackberry's contract is ending. Good decision or not? Should I have waited for the iPhone 5 which will be likely more expensive?

I think there is this rule with Apple on upcoming releases.. When you buy the iPhone two weeks before a new phone is announced, you can get a replacement for free. I mean you can change it for an iPhone 5.
Just out of interest - when the iPhone 4S came out in the UK, how much did it cost and what were the plans if anyone knows? I'm looking at the plans for 3/Orange right now and they're pretty decent but I don't know if they were different at first, but they're nothing unaffordable.
My only problem is I still have 10 months or so on my current contract and I wouldn't have a problem just buying the phone, but I'm with O2 and they're quite possibly the shittiest network, ever.

The 4/4s is the most gorgeous phone ever. Ungrateful basterds are never happy.
What's the problem? The backing is aluminum and finally matches all other Apple products; besides, the overall design is identical in almost every other way. Also, these aren't rumors at this point.

I can't wait to get this phone. I had the iPhone 3GS and the iPhone 4, but I moved to Android two months ago when I got the Galaxy S3. The sooner this comes out the better.
I was contemplating the move to SIII when I get my upgrade in May of next year, but I don't tink I will anymore. I just love the iOS too much. The only reason I though about the move was to try something new outside the iPhone.
Like some others have said I had a 3GS but then went with an Android to be "different"() and it ****ing sucked. I'm back with a 4s now but I'll wait until the 5s/6 since there seems to be little difference.
The earbuds look weird The reason the original earphones were loved was because they were free ( ) and more importantly comfortable. Those don't look comfortable at all/

I decided to move because I was sick of the iPhone 4 and I didn't think it was worth getting the 4S. I wanted to try something new, and I actually really liked it at first. It's not as user friendly as an iPhone, but it doesn't take too long to get used to it at the same time. The screen is amazing on first sight. I've just grown really tired of the phone in recent weeks. I find that numerous apps are crashing and I don't think it's a reliable phone. Also, the screen is WAY too big for practical everyday use. I really liked it at first but it's very difficult to use one-handed. I'm definitely glad I gave it a go, but the iPhone is far superior in my opinion.
